News archive: 24 september 2011: I see again strange comments that atmosphere of the Deus Ex Human Revolution lost after ENBSeries applied, the same stupid opinion like i heard with GTA 4 version. Okay, play then with yellow atmospheric, fairytale. For those, who don't know what is SSAO and how it must looks like (developers rarely do it correctly, dxhr also) the screenshots are here, here, here, here, here and here. 22 september 2011: New version for Deus Ex Human Revolution in development, wait. 22 september 2011: Users on some forums notify that 0.087 FX IMPLANT works with ATI/AMD cards if some global Catalyst Controls Center presets are turned off. Also antialiaing in game options may be the problem of driver crash because of too many shaders. Currently i didn't any game specific effects, standart SSAO, motion blur, bloom, color correction, palette. Convertor is not finished yet and have some artifacts, for example shadows of cars and painting on the wall in the game menu dissapear, motion blur vectors are incorrect from time to time, ALT+TAB not works. Reflections on the cars are the most hardest thing in this game, because the cars do not have normal vectors and solution to this problem may look horrible and slow, not sure yet. 16 april 2008: Painkiller works with 0.074f for Resident Evil 4. In Mafia game i didn't reflections, because cars do not have normal vectors, don't want to generate them now. 29 march 2008: Started to develop DirectX8 compatible version of ENBSeries, first public version will have simplified effects like bloom and color correction, guess i'll publish it soon, it's working already, more powerful with ambient occlusions much more later. If you have no idea what is it SSAO with IL and do you need it, take a look on screenshot of this effects in v0.073. Mod v0.074 for GTA San Andreas is done, but today when tested SSAO i found that in some areas of the map objects do not renders to this effect, from time to time flickering, see this screenshot . I'll try to fix this. 16 march 2008: Several screenshots of soft shadows ENBSeries GTASA v0.074 1, 2 . For this i use dynamic shadows from game, screenshots only with car reflection and shadows, no other effects, smother edges and corect shadow color will do later. I decide to stop making gobal shadows for all objects, at least not in 0.074 version, this project bother me. Updated screenshots gallery for GTA San Andreas. Effects of ambient occlusion and indirect lightning enabled for GF 6100, 6150, 6200 videocards, better noise filtering quality, optimized reflections and bloom when no other effects active. 15 feb 2008: Added mod for Stalker game, currently it works only on GF8xxx videoadapters, but code for older videocards or ATI/AMD also implemented, it may work or may not, try yourself. Very low speed when this mod activated is not my fault, i guess another video driver version may greatly increase performance, implemented effects use hardware specific formats which aren't fast. 14 feb 2008: Released new version of the mod for GTA San Andreas.
